MOSCOW, May 5 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Elbrus processors developer MCST and Baikal processors developer Baikal Electronics can face manufacture difficulties after the U.K. put them on the sanctions list, news and research agency Content Review head Sergei Polovnikov told PRIME on Thursday.
“To find producers of the processors they design may become difficult for them. They do not manufacture processors, but develop them. We do not have production of processors. To make these processors will be more difficult as they have to find a producer that would not fear secondary sanctions,” Polovnikov said.
He added that there are such producers in the world.
In total, the U.K. has introduced restrictive measures against over 1,600 Russian individuals and companies.
